Your VISION gives you EXACT directions.
Sea Turtles use the earth’s Magnetic Fields.
Dogs use Smell.
Humans have VISION.
VISION is INNATE.
VISION is UNERRING.
VISION is REQUIRED to play THE GAME.
It is IMPORTANT you KNOW, SEE, and ARTICULATE your VISION.
So what is Vision? How do you develop one? Is it important?
You already have a vision for every part of your life. You may not consciously know it but your vision is how you navigate through life. Vision doesn’t have to be some elegant and inspiring “this is the way” statement. Instead, it is your personal map of how to get from here to there, how to deal with people, and how to make your life meaningful.
In our data-saturated world, most people spend so much time RESPONDING to nonsensical data that they lose track of their vision. Responding to data keeps you in the same place and most often it is not the “right place”. A useful way to think about it is by picturing yourself as a teenager living in his parents home, sitting in his room playing online games. The game data is coming at him very fast and continuously…he is constantly responding. The problem is — is that at the end of the game he is still sitting in his parent’s house. He hasn’t moved. To see your vision you need to make a choice between responding to nonsensical data and articulating the vision you have.
Interesting point….vision emerges only after you make a choice.
